About TerraNova
World-Class Equestrian Center
Celebrate the Sport We Love
Thank you for joining us! We are so happy to welcome competitors, owners and spectators to our slice of horse heaven in Myakka City. We've been hard at work to build a world-class, family-friendly venue to host the pinnacle of all levels of equestrian competition.
Just beyond The Estates lies TerraNova Equestrian Center, a premier destination for equestrian sport in the heart of Southwest Florida. Welcoming riders, owners, and spectators from across the country and around the world, TerraNova brings together exceptional competition, thoughtful hospitality, and a shared passion for horses.
Spanning more than 200 acres, the facility features six all-weather arenas with premium footing, permanent stabling, expansive cross-country grounds, and a signature hospitality Pavilion overlooking the competition arenas. A diverse calendar of national and international events welcomes equestrians across multiple disciplines and levels, from those beginning their competitive journeys to accomplished professionals competing at the highest levels.
Designed with the horse at the forefront, TerraNova embraces the natural character of the Florida landscape. Majestic live oaks, open green spaces, and peaceful surroundings create an atmosphere where horses and riders can feel at ease, while carefully planned facilities and an experienced team support every aspect of the competition experience.
Guided by three founding tenets—Purity of Sport, Harmony with Nature, and Commitment to Excellence—TerraNova reflects a dedication to the well-being of the horse, the integrity of competition, and the enjoyment of everyone who visits.
For residents of The Estates who share a passion for equestrian sport, having TerraNova Equestrian Center nearby offers the opportunity to experience exceptional competition and a vibrant equestrian community close to home.
Purity
of Sport
TerraNova Equestrian Center is a stunning, state-of-the-art equestrian competition facility. Top show managers from around the country and the world bring their expertise to TerraNova Equestrian Center to develop and elevated, boutique show experience for competitors in eventing, dressage and hunter-jumpers. Our goal in producing equestrian competitions is to cater to all levels of equestrian enthusiasts from our miniature horse mascot, Fabio, to our top-level athletes with sights on the Olympics.
Harmony
with Nature
TerraNova is dedicated to maintaining harmony with nature and the environment. Every effort has been taken to preserve the trees on the property. Hannah is passionate about maintaining the authenticity of the grounds and protecting the habitat for wildlife. No trees were cut in the construction of the equestrian center property. "The show barns were rotated in a way to avoid cutting down the large, existing, wild oak trees," explains Hannah.
Commitment
to Excellence
During the development stage, TerraNova Equestrian Center consulted with experts in various industries to develop safe jump equipment, an organized layout, and pristine footing and ground conditions. The competition stables feature beautiful wood accents, black iron stall gates, wide aisle ways, designer lighting and sun-drenching skylights. All arenas are equipped with all-weather footing which is dragged throughout the day. The hunter-jumper rings feature inviting fences and oxers with frangible cups.
