From the back tees, Hole 3 stretches to 530 yards, making it the longest par four on the course. It arrives early in the round, just after you’ve found your footing on the opening holes.

Underfoot, the hole hints at what makes Miakka feel different from most Florida layouts. Stadium Zoysia on the fairways and Lazer Zoysia on the greens are being sodded from the club’s own on-site sod farm, allowing the design team to create consistently firm, fast conditions and a true ground game. The green on 3 is framed by native sand, low-profile contours and the live oaks that give Miakka much of its timeless character.

As construction progresses and the front nine continues to be shaped and grassed with these modern Zoysia varieties, Hole 3 is emerging as one of Miakka’s defining experiences—an early moment where the warm-up ends and the true character of the course comes into focus.
